A friend of mine invited us to go pick apples with her a few weeks ago at a nearby orchard. We had such a great time, we picked all different kinds of apples. Each child had their own basket, so we came home with a ton of apples (I'm surprised they saved some from the drive home.) They each were so careful to find just the perfect ones. We picked Jonathan's, Gala's, Sweet Sixteen, and Honey Crisps. My kids are quite the apple connoisseurs now.......We are loving fall!! (am I making any of you jealous yet? Just wait till you see pics of the fall leaves.)

That does look like so much fun. yes, we are jealous! Our kids all took their kids to Apple Annie's a few weeks ago and had tons of fun. Last weekend was the Pumpkin patch. Fun but ....no Navajo Tacos! Now we have to have them here at home. Hope I can still make decent fry bread?!?!
