Thanksgiving

We are so thankful for family. Thanksgiving was wonderful, and we had a delicious meal at Uncle Dan's. (Our first Thanksgiving away from home) Mike and Sheila came and brought a little bit of home with them. :) It was so nice to have John's parents here for the week. I think they enjoyed themselves. :) The kids were sad to have them go.

We were all especially grateful that Mike was able to come with Sheila. It was so fun to watch him play with the kids, it felt like we had our old (not literally old) Grandpa back again. It was kind of a tough year for him health wise, which made it that much more special to see him. We all love Grandpa! (and Grandma too) Mike and Sheila were so nice and took the boys to the National Mississippi River Museum (all by themselves) I think it wore them out! They also took us to see Madagascar 2, which the boys thought was hilarious. Sheila and I went out on Black Friday to try to get some great deals. (I have never done that before, not sure if I ever will again.) It was a great week which went by way too fast. We already miss them so much!!
