We had a nice funeral service for Mike at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Gilbert AZ on November 25th. A couple of Mike's business partners shared a beautiful eulogy and really made the service special. They had such nice things to say about him. He was respected and well liked, especially in the Geology field. He had a brilliant mind when it came to Geology. There were so many friends, neighbors, and colleagues that came to pay their respects. He will be greatly missed by many!

Sheila's neighbors all pulled together and put on a wonderful luncheon after the services. Everyone was so wonderful! What a great neighborhood she lives in. We decided to have the luncheon across the street at the lake. Mike was always encouraging us to use the gazebo for parties. We thought it was very fitting. I think he would have wanted it that way! :)
Mike always loved getting the paddle boat out and going out on the lake. After the luncheon, Aunt Vicki took the kids on the lake for a ride...in memory of Mike.
Later that night, Uncle Dan took us all out to dinner at The Outback Steakhouse (one of Mike's favorites) It was the perfect way to end an exhausting day.

We were so glad that we could be a part of the day. Pawlowskis really make us feel like family. Mike will be missed!
