Dang Kid!!

Jacob was setting the table the other night, when Luke climbed up and hurried and grabbed a plate and threw it to the ground. (luckily it didn't break) Jacob got frustrated with this and said "Mom, why is Luke such a dang kid!" I told him that didn't sound very nice. I asked him what he meant and he said "He is always doing things that he is not supposed to!" Luke does a lot of things he is not supposed to, and I guess I am always saying..."Dang it Luke!" I guess I should be more careful. Here is some of the things Luke has been into.

He plays in the toilet. He watches for the door to be open and runs right to it as fast as he can.
He plays in the kitty litter. Gross, I know!
He climbs on the table and throws everything down that is on it.
He pulls down lamps and knocks them down to the floor.
He spills out anything that has a liquid in it.
He pulls things out of the garbage.
He empties out my drawers and cupboards.
When he's done eating he throws everything on the floor...plates, food, drink, everything!
The latest thing....he threw my camera down and broke it at Joey's chorus concert.
The other night after his bath, he was dressed and ready for bed. I set him on my bed, because he will usually stay there. Bekah was in the tub and I ran into the other room for something and came back and Luke was standing fully clothed in the bath tub, soaking wet. When I told John, he said "You should have taken a picture...oh wait, I guess he broke the camera! So when does this faze end?
At night though, when he's sleeping, I think he is so adorable. We DO love him, it's just been awhile since we've had such a busy toddler! (both Bekah and Jacob were so easy going and easy to entertain) He keep things exciting!

Don't you just love those active little boys. We had to put locks on all of our kitchen cupboards because Ethan was always pulling everything out. Thank goodness we don't have a kitty litter box because I'm sure I would catch him playing in that too. Have fun!

Your post brought back memories of our little wild boys. This house is locked down from top to bottom, because I got tired of replacing everything that got broken. Sometimes they really do seem like pin balls bouncing from one naughty thing to another. I remember once finishing cleaning up glass that Gabriel broke, coming around the corner from the garbage as our pole lamp fell on the floor in front of me, as I cleaned that up I heard giggling in the bathroom and found the entire new roll of toilet paper on the ground. I was greatfull it wasn't all in the toilet. Boys are sure an adventure. I bet you could give me some good survival strategies for raising a bunch all in a row. I'm kinda panicked about a third one coming.
