Happy Birthday Jacob!

Today is Jacob's 6th birthday! I went to eat lunch with him today at school, and when he saw me he said "Mom, do I look taller to you? Because I'm six you know, that means I'm bigger now. But...I'm not in first grade yet." He is so cute!!

Jacob is getting so big. He is in Kindergarten and is doing very well at learning to read. Every report card he brings home says that he is a star student, but is a bit of a perfectionist. We are so proud of his hard work and his good example. Jacob is my little angel and is always so quick to jump in and help me. I never have to ask Jacob to do something twice. He has such a righteous spirit and he is always striving to do what is right. (A quick story, I know I'm bragging....:) ) The kids school is raising money for cancer research to help sick children. The school encouraged the kids to bring in pennies to help raise money. Well, the tooth fairy came to visit Jacob. That morning, Jacob put the dollar in a bag and wanted to give that to the school. I told him I could give him other money and he could keep his tooth fairy money. He said no and told me he would rather spend his own money because there are some really sick kids that really need his help. What a sweet kid. That's my Jacob!!
