The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium

For Labor Day we decided to go to the nearby museum and aquarium. The museum takes you through a tour of the Mississippi River and the places it runs through. We checked out all the animal life that can be found around the Mississippi River and stepped on an old boat that was once used on the river. We had a lot of fun. We wished we had more time to watch all the movies and stuff they had. We'll just have to go back.

There were three different aquariums at this museum full of the different animal life that can be found in the Mississippi River

Joey was a little scared to get too close to this alligator.

There were giant catfish and other huge fish there also.

Upstairs they had a display called venom. There were spiders, scorpions, snakes, plants.... pretty much any living thing that is poisonous. John and Joey stuck their head in these bubbles, so it seemed like they were right there with the Rattlesnakes.

We had so much fun. It has been fun to check out all the fun stuff we have nearby us now.
