We have had some really cold days so far, (temperatures in the negatives, and with the wind chill factor it has gotten down to -27 degrees) The kids had two and half snow day's in December due to snow and ice. They thought it was a blast! (they were a little bummed when they found out that the day's would be tacked on at the end of the year)
They got out the shovels and tried to build a snowman. (I don't think they really knew how to build a snowman, maybe they were thinking it was a lot like sand castles.) :) The snow was way to soft though, so it wouldn't have worked anyway.
Adam introduced Bekah to eating snow. (We tried to tell them to watch out for yellow snow) :)
