We have anxiously awaited this day... to finally go back home and celebrate Mary's wedding. I am so thankful for airplanes...I don't know how we could have done it otherwise! We actually were on the same flight as Uncle Dan and Aunt Vicki, so that was really fun to travel down together. They were a great help in getting us through security and getting onto the plane. I told them we would understand if they wanted to act like they didn't know us. :) They are so great with the kids, we are so lucky to have them close to us.
Bags are packed and ready to go!!
This was taken right before we boarded the plane. The Allegiant airplane behind us is the one we were getting on to. As soon as we walked on the plane, Adam told the flight attendant, "We know Jeff, he's going to be our Uncle!!" (Jeff is a Pilot for Allegiant Air) They gave us great treatment and even let the kids step into the cockpit. Adam was especially excited about that because he wants to be a pilot when he grows up!
As soon as we landed, we had to rush to the church for the dress rehearsal. All of us are part of the wedding party. John is a groomsmen, I am a bridesmaid, Jacob is the ring bearer, Bekah is the flower girl, and Joey and Adam are escorting her down the isle. (We don't quite trust Luke to do anything) :)
After the dress rehearsal we all met at a restaurant called "Shakespeare's". The atmosphere was kinda fun, it felt like we were inside an Irish or Scottish Pub. (not that I've been to many) ;) My dad would have loved it! There was quite a group there between Jeff and Mary's families.

The bide and groom sharing a toast and thanking all those who have come to support them.
Here are just a few of the family members on our side that I was able to catch that night.
Uncle Dan and Aunt Vickie
Uncle Nick, Great Aunt Mary, Uncle Bob

John's cousin Brandon and Uncle Jay

John's cousin Angela and her fiance Ed

John's cousin Chrissy, her husband Cody and their adorable daughter Claire
It had been such a long day for all of us, especially Luke. He was NOT a happy camper!! John was so sweet and had offered to take him home to his parents house, so I could enjoy my dinner and visit. (He got his To Go) I tried to convince him to stay...it was his family, but he also a had a quiz he needed to do online, so it would actually help him. His cousin Chrissy also left with Claire, because she was so exhausted also. (it was just too much for those two toddler's) I guess the two of them had a good time visiting after they got the little one's to bed. I don't know how much of his quiz got done! :) I'm glad he and Chrissy were able to catch up though. I guess they had a fun time talking about the old days and how neither one of them could have guessed how the next 10 to 12 years would turn out.It was so fun to see so many old faces! Some of Johns family we haven't seen since we were married! We are so excited for Mary and Jeff and are looking forward to tomorrow...it's going to be a big day!!
