We had to return the rental car to Cedar Rapids today. We could have gone straight from Peoria to Cedar Rapids to get our car at the airport and return the rental yesterday, but it would have added another 2 hours to our already 5 hour long trip. The cost of the rental was going to be the same regardless if it was 3 hours or 24, so I told John we should keep it and get our monies worth. :) So, we brought it home and kept it for the day, which meant that I had to get up and out of the house for our small road trip to Cedar Rapids. We only live about 1 hour and 15 min. from there, so it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed getting to drive the car. (John had been the one driving all along). We had rented a Toyota Sienna, and I loved it!! We noticed that the kids didn't seem as loud in this van. (I think the way our Town and Country is shaped really affects the acoustics in there, the kids are always so loud) :) After driving the Sienna around, John and I think we would really like to get one for our next vehicle. (I know all about the recalls, but don't all cars have them?) Anyway, I had meant to get a picture of the mini van, but we were cutting the time close, and I didn't want to have to pay more, so I forgot about the picture in all my rushing. We returned the car to the airport with no problems, and found our parked car and headed back home. Very uneventful. :) Luckily Luke and Bekah were such good sports, especially since we had just had the long trip the day before. What an exciting day! :)
Welcome, Minnie!!

The Sienna's were not affected in the recall. Only the parts that were made in the US were affected. Sienna's are made in Japan. So another reason to buy one. My husband works for Toyota and we own a 2001 Sienna. We have had it for about 8 years and it runs like brand new. I LOVE it!
