After dinner the kids had wanted dessert. Why is it that kids think they need dessert every night?! I started to say no, but then I remembered that big cake leftover from Jacobs party! I got each child a piece, but I think that wasn't good enough for Luke! At first I was trying to stop him for getting into the cake, but then I thought "relax for once...let him have fun" Then, for a moment, I thought about how out of character that would be to start a cake fight! (we had a lot of cake left and it was starting to get old). What would the kids think of that!! But then I let my character get the best of me and decided that would NOT be a good idea. What a mess!!! Now though, looking back on it, I wished I would have grabbed a huge handful and start a cake fight...What would the kids have though!! I'm sure they definitely would have remembered it, it could have been a lot of fun. I need to learn to relax and have fun!! So someday...I am going to start a cake fight, just wait and see!

Save it for next summer and let her rip . . in the middle of the grass, not a patio?!?!?!?
