We took the kids (well, everyone but Luke) to go see Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It was showing in our little town's theater, so we thought we would check it out. The theater is really old, and it's nothing like going into the city to one of the "nice" theaters, but the price was right, AND there were probably only 15 other people there!
I really enjoyed the movie, more so than John and the boys. They had read the book, and were a little disappointed that they didn't follow the book, but which movie does! :) Everyone agreed though that it still was a good movie. There were a few scary parts, but Bekah did pretty well. She stayed the whole time on John's lap, and she would lean over to me and say "scary". I was worried she would have nightmares, but she did just fine that night.
Thanks to our great neighbors, we were able to have an enjoyable time at the show. She offered to take Luke last minute, and it was so sweet of her! Otherwise, I was just going to stay home with Bekah and Luke and let the boys go. (No fun for me). We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives!!
