The kids had ANOTHER snow day today!! I think we have run out of allotted snow day's, if we have anymore, we may be going to school into June!!
I wanted to do something fun with the kids to help pass the time and not go crazy being stuck indoors! Joey and Adam both had to make Valentine boxes for their classes, so I thought that sounded like a fun project. Their school was having contests in each room to see who could come up with the best boxes. I had seen a cute idea in the FamilyFun magazine that was perfect. Jacob was excited to try it out..the other boys, not so much.
With Jacob and I working on his box, it got the creative juices going. Joey and I were able to come up with a cute Valentine Robot and Adam wanted R2 D2. We had a lot of fun making them using Kleenex boxes and colored card stock.
Here are the finished products!! I think they turned out really cute, we'll see if anyone wins anything in their class!!!
