Pizza Party!!
Our Primary had a pizza party today to reward the kids for learning the Articles of Faith last year. The kids worked really hard for the past year and really deserved it!! (even the little sunbeams learned the first four) It was a fun party and the kids loved it!
When we drove up to the church we saw these icicles. I then said "looks pretty dangerous" (it's a family joke) They DID look dangerous though. :)
This past week we've had some crazy cold days with blowing winds. You could tell by looking at the icicles which way the wind was blowing. Let me tell you, I would not want to be standing underneath one of those if they fell!!
Project Bekah's Room
Bekah's room was getting a little out of control and was driving me crazy!! It was so hard to keep it clean because we didn't have proper storage for things...we would just throw things into the closet. One of my goals for the year is to get organized and stay organized and that everything needs to have a home. So I decided to start with Bekah's room and tackled it this afternoon. Here is the before and after. :)

From This...
To This!! :)
Now we're happy!! :)
Doesn't it look awesome!! There is a floor under there!! Now the goal will be to keep it that way. :) It feels so much better to have a clean room. Now I can't wait to get to the rest of the house. (I need to get some more shelving units)
Quote of the day:
Bekah refuses to poop in the potty, so we deal a lot with poopy pants. grrrr. (I hope and pray she grows out of this) I'm trying really hard to not let it bother me and not give her attention when she does it. She won't even tell me when she does it. Anyway, as I was getting her ready for her bath she says to me, "Mom, I sure AM stinky!!" Really Bekah? I couldn't tell!!
(anyone with ideas or advice? I would gladly take it!)

Mariah is dealing with the opposite (most of the time) Garrett doesn't want to stop playing to pee in the toilet.
Both of my big boys went through phases of pooping in their pants. We made the oldest one clean it up himself and that did the trick for him. We tried it with the second one...didn't work, so we bribed with candy...didn't work, then we bribed with a Popsicle...didn't work, he loves money so we bribed with money...didn't work, put him in timeout every time he went in his pants...didn't work, finally Stephen decided a little swat each time he pooped...WORKED! It only took a few times and that stubborn kid decided pooping in the potty might be something to consider. We're still working on having him really potty trained, and he'll be 4 in March. So frustrating! I'll think of ya next time I'm cleaning up something I'd rather not be. :+D Good Luck!! If you figure something out, let me know the trick.
