Snow Day!!

School was canceled today due to a winter storm coming through. I love snow day's because then we get to sleep in!! (I am not a morning person) I'd like to say that I was super mom and made the day really fun for my kids, complete with games, crafts, etc., but that did not happen. :) I had good intentions on doing something fun, but I got busy looking for a picture, which led me to look through my box of pictures that really need to be organized and put in photo albums. The kids were enjoying watching their movies and playing wii, so I decided to clean out the box and put the pictures into piles to be put into albums. (now lets see how long that will take, I make this harder than it needs to be) :) By the afternoon the kids were crazy and I was ready to throw them outside to play in the snow, but it was too late, the wind had picked up and with the wind chill factor it was between 20 to 30 below...maybe just a little too cold to go out and play!

We have so many funny pictures of John either dressed up or with something on his head. He loves to have fun and enjoys trying to make me smile!! (he usually succeeds) :)

After seeing these pictures and looking back, things sure seemed easy back then. Two cute, well behaved little boys and one sane mom...at least that's how I remember it. :) What happened??? ;)

It was fun to take a trip down memory lane...and I'm sure in a few years I will remember all the good stuff going on now too, not all the craziness! :)

Jacob was trying to tell me something about what he wanted to do on Saturday's. He left the room and then quickly poked his head in and said "Oh, and mom, by Saturday I mean any day that is not a church day or a school day." Glad he cleared that up for me. :)
